Mourning the loss of our Honorary Member

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Honorary Member, Rury Macleod, who tragically passed away at 6:15am (Cyprus time) on Tuesday 12th May 2020. He joined the MPS in the early 1980s serving in Chelsea, the Heathrow Firearms Unit and finishing his career with the Royalty Protection Group after 30 years service before moving to Cyprus. Rury was an Associate Member from the early days of our establishment and fully supported the co-founders to progress the association throughout the years. He was awarded the Honorary Membership upon his retirement for demonstrating a high level of commitment to the association during his service. Rury's funeral will take place tomorrow at 11:00am in Paphos, Cyprus, with attendance limited to close family and friends due to current coronavirus restrictions.

AGM 2020 goes ahead via MS Teams
